Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DeVilbiss Car Club (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit devilbissclub.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you email us or leave a comment, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message or comment. Messages you send us arrive by email; the Site does not use a contact form.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and third-party tools may automatically collect technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.

Cookies and similar technologies. We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, and local storage. See the “Cookies” section below.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To respond to messages and questions you send us;
  • To display and moderate comments;
  • To understand how visitors use the Site (analytics);
  • To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, analytics, spam filtering, and email delivery providers; when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others; or in connection with a transfer of the Site to a new owner. Embedded content and third-party services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies needed for the Site to function, for example to remember comment details or protect the comment form from spam;
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand traffic and popular content in aggregate;

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Browsers handle “Do Not Track” signals inconsistently and there is no common standard, so the Site does not currently respond to them. Where required by applicable law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.

5. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

Articles may include links to other websites and embedded content (for example, videos). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

6. Data Retention

We keep email messages you send us for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, and published comments for as long as they remain on the Site. Server logs and analytics data are kept for limited periods set by our providers. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights in the United States

California residents. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), this policy describes the categories of information we collect, the third parties we share it with, how we respond to Do Not Track signals, and how we notify you of changes. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), applies, California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising); to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Other states. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have similar rights, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling, and the right to appeal our decision on a request.

To make a request, contact us through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

10. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
